Distinguished Service Award
The Distinguished Service Award was created in 1940 to honor
those who render service to the Order beyond the lodge level.
Since that time about 500 such awards have been given. The award
is presented to those arrowmen who have rendered distinguished
service to the Order on a sectional, regional, or national basis.
It is given primarily for dedicated service to the Order and
Scouting over a period of many years. Our Lodge has had five
of its members honored with this high honor. They are:
1967 Arthur B. Wood
1979 Cliff Harmon
1981 Tom E. Nelson
1990 Jeff Moser
1990 Doc Rooney
