Hello

I serve as the District Executive for the inner-city Scoutreach area in
Knoxville made up of the Empowerment Zone. Roughly, this is the entire area
inside of the I-640 loop plus a few areas south of the river.

I will be holding my Cub Scout School Night Recruitment Rallies beginning on
August 18 and could use some help. My desire is to have OA members there to
greet families and direct them to the right room/table as well as help
distribute and collect materials --- I firmly believe that new Cub Scouts
that see OA members in uniform will be excited about joining so that they
can work towards the honor of being called out for OA after they transition
to Scouting.

This would be a GREAT way to get some service hours and I would be glad to
give each volunteer a letter or email to verify the number of hours they
served.

Thanks.
