Brothers,

 

This is a friendly reminder of the upcoming Lodge Leadership Development Conference on January 9 & 10, 2010.  The event will be held at The Grand Resort Hotel located at 3171 Parkway in Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.  I expect all Lodge and Chapter officers and chairmen to attend because you are the leadership of the lodge and as leaders of the lodge, this seminar will help build leadership skills that you can use not only in your OA positions, but in your everyday life.

 

The fee for the event is $30, which includes training, hotel accomidations on Saturday night and Sunday breakfast.  You must pre-register for this event.  Walk-On registration will not be allowed.  The registration form is available on the lodge website (pellissippilodge.org.)

 

Meals for Saturday Lunch and Dinner are on your own in order to give the opportunity to go have fun in either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, this is a chance to go have an awesome time on the town while at a Boy Scout event.  It doesn’t get much better!!!!!
 

There will be many sessions taught for both youth and adult.  Youth sessions are Role of the Youth in the OA, Lodge Finance, Visibility of the OA and Effective Program Planning.  Adult sessions are Role of the Adult, Vitalizing the use of Communications and Resources and How to Motivate the Youth.  Both youth and adults will participate in the following sessions: Chippewa Chapter Game, The Role of the Chapter as well as a couple others.
