Brothers,

A SCOUT IS
  HELPFUL
Great Smoky Mountain Council
“Good Turn for
  Nashville”
Emergency Relief Project

As many of you know,
thousands of families have been affected by the tragic flooding in the
Nashville area. The scouts, leaders, and families of the Great Smoky Mountain
Council, Boy Scouts of America have been asked to join the relief effort. We
are now gathering supplies that are desperately needed by families in the
  greater Nashville area.

The following items are needed
  immediately:

Mops
Sponges
Laundry Detergent (Dry Powder
  Only)
Dishwashing Detergent
Garbage Bags
Cases of Bottled
  Water

All items should be in packaged new condition.

Donations
are being accepted at the Great Smoky Mountain Council Service Center during
  regular business hours.

A group of volunteers will load the items on
FRIDAY, MAY 14 and drive them to the Middle Tennessee Council Service Center
for distribution by scouts to families in need. Volunteers are also needed to
assist in loading the supplies and driving the supply truck to Nashville.
Contact Greg Leitch at GregW.Leitch at scouting.org
to volunteer to load or drive.

For more information about donating
supplies or volunteering to help, please contact the Council Service Center at
  865-588-6514.

Please join us as we make a difference to those who
  need our help!
